Blast off and explore DesignCon's annual Welcome Reception where all passholders can enjoy complimentary cocktails, bites, games, and more. Network with like-minded peers, re-connect with colleagues, and kick the week off right at this celebration of engineers' contributions to space exploration.
At the DesignCon Welcome Reception, Samtec will provide a demonstration of the original Apollo S-Band communication hardware used in the moon missions. Most of the spacecraft communication electronics will be on display, including the Motorola S-band transponder, Collins travelling wave amplifier, the pre-modulation processor, and telemetry boxes.
Don't miss out on the annual Welcome Reception raffle! This year's prizes include a Millennium Falcon Lego Kit, an International Space Station Lego Kit, an entry in the Star Registry, and a Refractor Telescope.
